Chateau at Coindre Hall: Lessings
This 1912 mansion is a National Historic Landmark that fulfills every dream of what a fairy tale castle should look like. Graceful and elegant, the building’s amenities lends themselves to everything from Medieval, to Gatsby, or to the Modern era. With stunning views of the Long Island Sound and Huntington Harbor, Coindre Hall offers a magnificent backdrop for indoor and outdoor photos of your once in a lifetime event. Catering to only one event at a time, with menus designed for each couple individually, the Chateau at Coindre Hall continues to delight their couples and guests alike.
Danfords Hotel and Marina
Danfords is a historic hotel and event venue on the Long Island Sound with 86 guest rooms. It’s nestled right in the picturesque seaside Village of Port Jefferson. Many of the rooms are suites that feature fireplaces, water view balconies, and their award winning full-service restaurant. de Seversky Mansion at NYIT
The de Seversky Center is a Grand Old Gold Coast Mansion in every respect. White marble greets you in the exquisite entrance way, with the grand staircase staged for the perfect descent. The walls are of rich wood. Corinthian columns line the mansions exterior, looking out on over 100 acres of Old Westbury’s finest landscapes. There is also a brick and glass atrium which is perfect for the ceremony itself. Pioneers of “Mansion Style” and “European Style” dining, the de Seversky Center is every bit as opulent as one would expect, but she is surprisingly warm and intimate. The food is everything you would hope for and more as the staff gladly caters to your requests. The service is first class and the staff are skilled, friendly, professional and down to earth. It is also one of the few venues where the general manager is an active and interactive part of your event. This is a must-see if you are thinking of having your Wedding Ceremony in a Mansion. This is a reception venue and they are also open to ceremony only options!
East Wind
East Wind is the most unique location on Long Island. With four completely distinct locations, it has all the benefits of a single event venue with the buying power and experience of a multi-event location. Flowerfield
Flowerfield is an absolutely amazing location! Not only is it physically beautiful – the cocktail hour space is so vast – but the food is among the best on Long Island… and nobody, anywhere, is better than Andy – the maitre-d – for keeping all your ducks in a row. As one of their recommended officiants we are there quite often and they always go above and beyond our couple’s expectations. You have made a great choice in location!
Giorgio’s Baiting Hollow

Riviera Waterfront Mansion
The Riviera is located in Massapequa on the beautiful Great South Bay. Sand Castle
Choosing a photo for this venue was really difficult. It is the kind of place that really needs to be seen in person. With a beautiful atrium featuring a flower garden with flowing water elements and gorgeous stonework, Sand Castle has many indoor options for ceremony and cocktail hour. The ballrooms and indoor spaces are sprawling and modern and are filled with light, but with an Old World feel. Sand Castle hosts only one wedding at a time, boasts a fabulous menu of international and specialty cuisine, has multiple fireplaces and separate seating areas that your guests can rest in between dances. They’ve even got a uniformed doorman to greet you upon arrival…. and they have available a Rolls Royce for your personal transportation needs!
Smithtown Landing Country Club
Check out this newly reinvented and renovated space recently acquired by Smithtown Landing Caterers. Smithtown Landing Country Club is located on the North Shore overlooking the Nissequogue River. It offers three buildings ensuring that your affair will have all the privacy and attention that your special day deserves. The extensive grounds and buildings allow for wonderful photos and serve equally well for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. It’s run by the amazing Mandi Friedrich, who takes care of every couple like their her own family.
Stonebridge Country Club: Lessings
Since taking over Stonebridge in 2013 the Lessings family has set a new standard in the wedding industry. Stonebridge features clean lines, open floor spaces and huge floor to ceiling windows that bring together their indoor spaces with the natural beauty of the golf course grounds surrounding them. Swan Lake
Swan Lake is a beautiful and unique destination on Long Island’s East End. They are located on the award winning Swan Lake Golf Course, which allows them to offer a truly gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photos. They’re owner operated and the folks there really go out of their way to make you feel at home and cared for. They also have a couple of amazing in-house vendors, with music by Music Entertainment by High Voltage Entertainment and Photography by Capture the Moment Studios.
The Estate at Three Village Inn: Lessings
Built in 1751, The Three Village Inn is a beautiful example of Colonial Long Island. The Fox Hollow

The Mansion at Oyster Bay: Lessings
The Mansion at Oyster Bay is an absolutely beautiful location with all of the hallmarks of a true Gold Coast Mansion. The Mansion is very much as it was, back when the renowned architectural firm of Delano and Aldrich completed its construction in 1918. The magnificent entrance door, with its patterned grillwork frame, opens into the grand entrance hall. There you will see the classic black and white marble flooring and marble fireplace; just one of many! Down the hall to your right, on the way to the modern bridal suite, is a winding staircase. To your left is the drawing room with pecan paneling originally purchased from a castle in Ireland. The grounds reflect the other works of landscape architect Fredrick Law Olmstead, with visually stunning vistas at every turn. Truly a hidden gem of a location.
The Mansion at West Sayville: Lessings
Walking into the West Sayville Country Club is like entering the great house of a country estate. It is warm and welcoming, charming and inviting. The mansion was originally built in 1909 by Commodore Frederick G. Bourne, as a wedding present for his daughter, Florence, upon her marriage to Anson Hard.
So, the building holds – not only the memory of happy events – but the memory and longevity of a long and happy marriage. The glassed-in deck brings the natural beauty of the “Meadow Edge” surroundings right into your reception. This is a single event venue that comes with friendly and personalized attention, a huge and fully-appointed bridal suite, and a master chef that will delight and amaze the epicurean in all who attend! The North Ritz Club
The North Ritz Club has a wonderfully elegant design featuring open spaces, clean lines, and high ceilings, all that cater to the taste of the modern couple. The Royalton Mansion at the Roslyn Country Club
The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club is a colonial mansion from the early 1900s set on 10 acres of wooded arbor and English Garden, it’s been completely restored to its timelessness and glory, combining tradition of perfection and modern sophistication. Upon entrance a mahogany doorway opens to a two story lobby, adorned by a crystal chandelier, wood floors dressed in oriental rugs, and a wood carved, curved master staircase. A plush carpeted hall takes you to a Coventry stone patio and rich wood-paneled rooms, ideal for cocktails with their two fireplaces. The Grand Ballroom is elegantly decorated with beautiful sconces, hand carved crown moldings and Brazilian hardwood floors. The Mahogany Library features floor-to-ceiling mahogany walls and moldings, arm chairs, plush couches, a fireplace and mahogany barrister bookshelves. The bridal suite is in fact the original master bedroom of the mansion’s first owner Edward Moore; it features a mahogany four post bed, gas burning fireplace and a luxurious master bathroom. The Conservatory, complete with coffered ceilings is another perfect setting for your cocktail hour; its large windows offer incredible views of the English-styled gardens and fountains. With its green Coventry stone walls, a wrought iron lamp post and a gate, the Ivy Courtyard is perfect for a romantic ceremony. The View: Lessings
It doesn’t get more on the water than this! The panoramic water views of the Connetquot River and Great South Bay are inescapably beautiful. This unique wedding venue attracts a fun loving and laid back type of couple. The dining room is marked by fireplaces on each end, and VIEW’s raw sushi bar is always a big hit. Newer features to this intimate space include a waterfall backdrop, made of blue and white seashells, behind a marble bar top with beach-inspired artwork. The main dining room, which seats up to 165 guests, pairs nautical elements with white china, sleek beige leather chairs, and sand wash walls, to complement mahogany tables and matching columns against hardwood floors. The Grill Room provides more casual dining for up to 70 guests and boasts a lively bar scene, with French doors leading to the outdoor patio where the wedding ceremonies are held in nice weather. The view is perfect for those looking for a more relaxed setting with better food than your guests probably have ever had at a wedding!
The Waterview at Port Jefferson Country Club
The Waterview at the Port Jefferson Country Club is part of the Danford’s Hospitality family of venues, which gives you decades of experience all in newly renovated properties, with luxury hotel accommodations near by. This one is perched high on the bluffs overlooking Port Jefferson Harbor with some of the most spectacular views on the North Shore. The ballroom is light, bright, open and airy as are the bridal suites. It offers award winning cuisine and can host smaller events in it’s Cliffside Waterfront Restaurant. Westbury Manor
This Victorian Era Mansion has been meticulously restored to recapture its original charm. Set on six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and enhanced by ponds, waterfalls and gazebos, Westbury Manor offers a stately setting for an outdoor cocktail hour or garden Wedding Ceremony in their chapel. Colorful peacocks, ducks, and perched parrots adorn the expansive grounds. As you enter the grounds through large brick pillars with concrete finials, and enter a driveway lined with picturesque gas street lamps, you are taken back to a Victorian era of long ago. Plantings are seasonal and include an incredible display of spring tulips and daffodils, or a winter setting of tiny white lights, creating a luminous wonderland. The interior is styled in estate-era woods of mahogany, cherry and rose which are accented by leaded stained glass windows and detailed plaster ceilings. The decor features plush upholsteries, brass fixtures, and timeless heirlooms. European trained chefs will skillfully prepare and personally create any dish or delicacy that is desired.
