~ Vows and Pronouncement of Marriage ~

“Do you Michael take Rose,
To be your lawfully wedded wife
To have and to hold from this day forward,
For better or for worse,
For richer or for poorer,
In sickness and in health,
To love and to cherish
Until death do you part?”

Michael: “I do.”

“Will you now place the ring on your beloved’s finger…..

Michael places the ring half way on to Rose’s finger, pauses

and please pause just a moment, to look into Rose’s eyes, and remember this moment in time,
with all the love honesty and trust that it holds, so that your ring upon her finger will speak of
this moment forever….

Michael places the ring the rest of the way on to Rose’s finger

“Do you Rose take Michael,
To be your lawfully wedded husband,
To have and to hold from this day forward,
For better or for worse,
For richer or for poorer,
In sickness and in health,
To love and to cherish
Until death do you part?”
Rose: “I do.”

“Will you now place the ring on your beloved’s finger and repeat after me?”

Rose places the ring half way onto Michael’s finger pauses

and please pause just a moment, to look into Michael’s eyes, and remember this moment in
time, with all the love honesty and trust that it holds, so that your ring upon his finger will
speak of this moment forever….

“Rose and Michael, since you have been together doors have kept opening for you. There is no
doubt that you are right where you are supposed to be in this life and that you are truly
blessed. So I would like to close this ceremony with our wish that your marriage will deepen
and enrich every aspect of your lives. That it will touch the hearts of those who love you and
some day inspire your children to believe in the promise of forever.

Having witnessed your marriage vows with all who are assembled here, and by the authority
vested in me by the State of New York, It is with great joy that I now pronounce you husband
and wife. You may seal your promises with a kiss!”
