| ~ Opening Words and Prayer ~ “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Anni and Delon. I was told that since their long-distance romance has meant they’ve conducted most of their relationship in the sky, they believe it’s only fitting that their wedding should be in the clouds. New York City has been the setting for some of your fondest memories, and the Empire State Building has always held a special place in your hearts.. Today you will be standing on the observation deck for the first time as husband and wife. As you embark upon the journey of a lifetime shared, you will look out and see everything that is romantic about NYC as you imagine just what is possible in life and love. What better way to begin such a miraculous journey than with a prayer for your happiness… Loving God, Dear Friends and Family, We gather today as friends and family of these two beautiful people who shall this day be joined as one. You have given them the gifts of love, family, and dreams of a long and happy life together. May all that they share now deepen and grow through the years. May they continue to find comfort in each other’s presence, joy in each other‘s laughter, and a light in each other’s eyes to remind them always of the mystical union of spirit which is the ideal of marriage.” |
